Multi-coloured antique glass bottles, previously buried and then reclaimed. Original oil painting.
I set them in a bright light field to bring out their character and pearlescence.
Although this was painted on very smooth aluminium panel, I had introduced a ripple effect in the acrylic gesso layer that resembled canvas - I think this added to the character of the glass.
